Silver Wind: Bringing on the Beta « Thread Started on Nov 20, 2006, 6:01pm »
Silver Wind, a small palomino mare came gaily trotting in. Oh, how she wished for a home! She was pretty, small, and very timid.
She jogged along, giving a small smile towards the wild. She watched the beautiful walls of the terra. The walls reminded her of her dappled sister.. She quickly shoke her head. Twas not the place nor time to be remembering. She let out a shy whinny.

Regal Legacy's sharp auds caught new tones on the wind, a mare possibly? In this abandoned yet beautiful land? He broke into a gallop, it had been so long sence he layed optics on a mare, for his mate was gone for reasons unforseen. He held his dial high, allowing the wind to whip his tresses about, sucking in life threw his nares, feeling free. The emerald carpet seemed to go on forever, neverending. It finally ended at a sharp cliff that opened up to a beautiful, sun doused vally.
He slowly careened down the steep slope and at last layed hooves on even ground. He walked up to the beautiful mare that seemed to be carved from the sun itself and layed here on earth for the world to look upon.
Lo, beauty. I am Dubbed Regal Legacy, king of the land that surrounds you. Would you be so kind to tell me yours?
His tones were deep and smooth, much kinder than some stallions. He offered a kind and welcoming smile, for he despretly needed herd members, not to mention a lead fae. He pricked his auds and waited. . .

Silver perked her senses. so someone did live here... At first she felt shy. But then, she was happy. Maybe this was to be her home?
My dubbance be Silver Wind. Windy for short.
Windy said daintily. She was pretty, ofcourse, but wasn't ever really interested. She had come for a home... And she thought no one loved her.. No, not after her family fell apart. He sister, her mother, her father.. gone from what she knew of. She clacked heer hoofs in despair.

What a glorious name, Windy. You have my blessing, and you may join this herd if you do so wish. There should be another mare coming soon, I think you two will have much in common.
He spoke with kind tones, his optics showing his joy. He gave her a friendly nuzzle and waited for her answer. His herd would be growing soon and he was quite prowd of that. He smiled and waited, auds pricked to take in her sweet tones.

You're quite welcome! He whinnied joyously. Another herd member! What a glorious day! A love, and a member! Life could not get any better. He smiled as he heard hooves off in the distance, could it be her?
((Ok, will you post Diva coming now? I think it will fit with this thread, sence Windy is wondering who she is. Either that, or we could start a new thread, its your choice, lol))

right then!)))
The steady pitter patter of strong hooves echoed throughout the silence. The ground wobbled ina frenzy as a wild spotted mare tossed herself over the terra in glee. She had a mate. She had a home. He dream had come true. But this was a reality.
However, as she advanced to Legacy and the other mare, she slowly halted, a puzzled look on her face. She knew that mare! She knew her indeed.. But where? Long legs, bright head, shakey and healthy bodice. Yes, alike to her.. She shook her head. Oh well!
She trotted to Legacy, and gave him a little embrace, happily. At first it seemed akward. But it wouldn't be later. She smiled at the new mare.
Windy stared at the mare. Who was this mare? Who had stumbled apon this land? Who was staring at her confused. Sddenly, Windy looked back. Those eyes. She kenw this horse. Seeing her posture she suspected she was the alpha, and gave a little bow.

Legacy felt himself smile, but then sensed something beetween them. He nuzzled his love and looked from Diva to Windy and back. "Ah, M'love Diva! What a blessing that you found your way safely!
He dipped his dial and turned to look at Windy.
Windy, this is Divan Wonder, my Lady of all.
He turned and smiled at his mate.
Diva, this is Silver Wind, The newly appointed Betaess.
He smiled agian. He had waited for his love to get here to appoint the proper ranks. Diva was now his mate, his love, so she was now the Lady of all. Silver Wind was a new member and she had proven herself quite honest, so she would be the new Betaess. He nickered to both of them and then looked up toward the sky, thanking god for the true angels he had sent down to him.

Windy gave a slight nicker of shock. Betaess? Such an honour! She was glad, for being the female, possibly she could get to know this Diva.. Divan Wonder. She giggled a bit in her head. Divan was another word for stool. She gave a light smile.
Diva two gave a hearty smile. She glanced towards her mate. She was still in great shock. Her dappled coat shone in the sun. Her mind clicked. Windy. Familiar. And now she knew from where. She remembered the cold nights growing up, her mother tending to a younger foal. No time for herself! She know remembered.
Windy had been that pampered younger sister. They were kin. Diva gave little look into the eyes of her before speaking.Windy, huh? Such a pretty name. I don't doubt that Phantom thought of that herself...She said, giving her mother's name. Watching Windy's eyes light up, she smiled.

[center]Diva let out a smile, and she stared at Windy. Windy softly spoke to her leader with a certain glow in her eyes.
Phantom...? She is was mother. She croaked, choked with emotion. Diva dipped her head and then raised it high. She whinnied loudly, half in joy, half in sorrow for her dead mother. Phantom had been great to them..
Windy snorted pawing the ground in glee at finally finding her older sister. The two had different fathers, but they did have the same mothers. Twas all that mattered!

Legacy dipped his dial. He heard the hurt in Diva's voice and gave her a loving nuzzle.
"I am sorry I brought it up, M'love."
He smiled and nickered sweetly. He looked at both of them, knowing that none ave yet to see the entire land.
"Beauties, I would love to show you the rest of my land, would you two care for a tour?"
He smiled, dipping his boa to drink from the clean, pure stream that ran threw the land. Everything tasted here, the water crisp and clean, the grass tasted sharp and wonderful. The snow, oh the snow! It was as if poudered sugar fell from the sky itself! But, the snow wouldn't be back for a few days, but there was still many things to see and speak about!
